Jen Hill

Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to make picture books. I finished my first one in the fifth grade. Many years later I attended the Rhode Island School of Design and focused on children’s illustration and animation. My passion for creating narrative artwork has afforded me a career as an illustrator, fine artist, animator and children’s author. I love making pictures and scenes that tell stories with humor and often a bit of the dark side. I work in a studio with four other illustrators in the Pencil Factory in Brooklyn, NY.

“With quirky comic style illustrations this seafaring quest is anything but dull. Ahoy there!” — WRD magazine for ‘Jolly Regina’

“Hill’s graphic-style illustrations support the story and extend its humor.” — Library Journals for ‘Percy and TumTum: A Tale of Two Dogs’
