Tom Knight grew up on Mersea Island on the Essex coast, where he returned to live after having children of his own. Having grown up on a small farm, Tom spent most of his time using his imagination to create new worlds from the hedgerows and haystacks.

With autumn now upon us, we welcome the cosy evenings and the orange hues spreading across the trees. A perfect time of year to wrap up warm and dive into a wonderful book, like Rebel Wilson’s debut children’s book Bella the Brave, illustrated by Annabel Tempest, or go on an amazing animal adventure with the James Lancett illustrated Vetman and his Bionic Animal Clan.

Jen Khatun is a Published Children’s Book Illustrator of Bangladeshi/Indian heritage, who grew up in the beautiful quaint city of Winchester. Inspired by the natural surroundings, her childhood favourite stories and the hidden magical moments found in everyday life, Jen loves nothing better than to weave colourful illustrations that dance and inspire with playfulness, hum with nostalgia and bring a sense of uplifting and reminiscent elements of appreciation to life and family.

Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art, Fiona has always earned her living from drawing. She started her career working in animation, but now specialises in picture books. Fiona’s debut book Hiding Heidi, published by Simon and Schuster, and her illustrations in A Dot in the Snow, written by Corrinne Averiss, published by Oxford University Press, were both nominated for The Kate Greenaway Award.
