Sophie is an English illustrator from rural Essex in the UK.

She obtained a degree in illustration from Norwich University of The Arts, where she grew her passion for creating fun characters and playful scenes.

She spends most of her time illustrating on her iPad with a cup of tea in hand. She also loves travelling (and is often known to fly in and out of a country in a single day), cooking, and tending to her plants.

Sophie was highly commended by the judges of the Carmelite Prize for her design-led compositions and vibrant use of colour.

Sophie’s clients have included Penguin, Hachette, Scholastic, and ArsEdition.
