Katie Rewse

Katie is an illustrator based on the south coast of the UK, in Bournemouth. She graduated from a Masters Degree in Illustration at the Arts University Bournemouth in 2017. Whilst studying, Katie was longlisted in the House of Illustration and Folio Society Book Competition, and shortlisted for the Batsford Prize.

As a child Katie wanted to be a doctor or a dentist, until she realised that she was extremely squeamish, and that actually she was probably better at drawing than science. When Katie is not illustrating from her little home studio by the sea, she enjoys exploring the coast with her husband in their camper van.

Katie’s debut picture book the Garden of Hope, written by Isabel Otter was published in August 2018, by Caterpillar Books.
