Susana Gurrea

Susana Gurrea is an illustrator from Barcelona, Spain.

She studied illustration and comics, later receiving a postgraduate degree in Illustration for Children’s Publications at the Eina University School of Design, in Barcelona. Her work has appeared in early readers books, educational manuals, children’s magazines and non-fiction books. Her art features bright colors and dynamic characters. She is inspired by nature and her son. She currently lives with him and her husband in a small village in the countryside, not far from Barcelona. When she’s not drawing, she really enjoys traveling, reading, playing with her son, and having family meals. She’s a quiet person who enjoys the little things in life.
