Gabriella Marsh

Gabriella Marsh is an illustrator, author and educator based in London. She’s British Maltese and has also lived in Madrid and Barcelona - next to her best friend the Mediterranean Sea.

She has a BA in Graphic design from Kingston and a Masters in Animation from the Royal College of Art. She makes vibrant, joyous illustrations using coloured pencils, pastels, gouache and watercolour paints.

She loves people watching and a lot of her work focuses on capturing those micro moments of joy that pepper everyday life.

She’s an optimist but believes that hope is a muscle and if you care about people and the environment then you need to invest in them both - she thinks making children’s books is the best way she can do this.

She wants to make silly, messy, beautiful, colourful, hopeful books bursting with humour and wonder.

She loves swimming, big dogs and being outside.
