Camilla Giunta

Camilla Giunta is a digital illustrator and comic book artist based in Italy. Her earliest childhood memories are of sultry afternoons spent at her grandmother’s house doodling on Post-it notes while watching cartoons and she never stopped. After a bachelor’s degree in psychology, she graduated from the Comics School of Padua and subsequently completed a master’s degree in visual development at IDEA Academy.

Her style is colorful and lighthearted, always striving to bring into her work that sense of magic and wonder she felt as a child watching animated films. She likes to capture small intimate moments and spontaneous emotions by creating sweet and nostalgic illustrations. Her passion leads her to tell stories as well as draw them, with the goal of becoming also a graphic novel author.

In addition to the world of animated films, she also loves books and comics, tarot cards, mythology and walking on the beach. Daily she spends her time drawing her stories and raising two sweet-mischievous cats.
