Christmas comes early: Jane Newland designs for Leonidas

Hugely popular across a diverse range of products areas with her signature style that combines intricately-detailed, painterly and almost meditative mark-making with an irresistibly narrative appeal, Bright artist Jane Newland has now been commissioned to create a series of seasonally-inspired designs for luxury chocolate brand, Leonidas.

First in the series – to encompass St. Valentine’s, Easter, Mother’s Day and Autumn themes – is Jane’s delicately nostalgic treatment for the chocolatier’s Christmas range: the artwork features a day-dream-like girl in a snowglobe as its central motif, and is applied across an assortment of products including advent calendars, ballotins and gift boxes:
