Matthew Taylor Wilson

Matthew Taylor Wilson is an illustrator and designer based in Kentucky, where he lives with his wife, two children, and four delightfully energetic dogs. Born and raised in the United States, Matthew’s creative roots run deep, shaped by a lifelong love of picture books, classic monster/sci fi movies, and fantasy novels.

He began his career in graphic design and gradually moved toward a more playful, illustration-focused practice. Over the past two decades, he has brought his distinctive style to a wide range of projects, including book covers, advertising campaigns, logos, and countless other commercial works, often featuring his trademark monsters, spooky trees, and hand-drawn lettering.
