Helen Bea is a designer and illustrator based in Sheffield, UK. She loves to use bright pops of colour and expressive illustration to celebrate the important moments in life. Motherhood, diversity and female empowerment are very important topics to her personally and her work is inspired by her own family - especially her two young girls, and her love of nature.

Helen’s uplifting style appeals to a wide range of audiences, is adaptable and inclusive and engages a variety of markets, including the blended family, LGBTQ+ community, young children and Gen-Z. She has a track-record of success at retail with her popular greetings card designs which are stocked across the UK and France, licensed in the US and by large brands like Moonpig and Sainsbury’s. Helen likes to work digitally but also incorporates her passion for watercolour painting which brings a spontaneity and freshness to her designs.

When not drawing or painting you can find Helen playing with her two wonderful children, crafting, hanging out with her friends and listening to oh-so-many podcasts whilst drinking lots of Yorkshire tea!
