Isabel Muñoz
Isabel Muñoz is an illustrator of more than forty children books, The Bright Agency has represented her since 2016. Previously she studied fine arts at The Complutense University of Madrid.
She grew up loving everything cute, spooky, vintage and having a box of coloured waxes and a sketchbook as her favourite child game.
Isabel works from a lovely picturebook-filled studio in the magical Asturias, in the north of Spain. She lives with her husband Fer and her funny dog Pepi.
Some of her works as an illustrator are: Buttercup the Bigfoot, written by Douglas Rees, voted «Inspired Recommendations for Kids from Indie Booksellers» (2020) published by Henry Holt & Company Inc; Adventures to School, by Baptiste Paul and Miranda Paul, a Real-Life Journeys of Students from Around the World published by Little Bee Books, or 21 cousins written by Anda Diane, published by KAR-BEN and winner of The Alma Flor Ada Best Latino Focused Children’s Picture Book Award (English) or The Singer and the Scientist, written by Lisa Rose, a 2021 National Jewish Book Award Finalist.
