Fung Kang

Fung Kang was an architect and a kid’s barber before becoming an illustrator, finally aligning with his childhood dream.

He enjoys using a variety of media, including pencil, gouache, and digital to create artworks for picture books and graphic novels. He is a fan of cartoon shows from the 90’s, gouache background paintings in animation, old and new toy designs, pop up books, and playing with his two energetic boys.

Fung is from a Malaysian Chinese background, now living in Perth, Australia with his partner and two boys.
