Rose Gerrard

Rose Gerrard is a Children’s book illustrator and designer living in London - though she’s a northerner at heart. Rose delights in filling scenes with movement and humour, crafting interactions between characters that bring their personalities to life.

Rose started her illustration journey by gaining an Illustration MA at Kingston University, developed her craft while working as a designer for Penguin Random House and Bloomsbury Publishing, and now freelances from her home studio.

Whether she’s anthropomorphising animals, creating characters, or immersing herself in a new world, Rose likes to fill every project with bright pops of colour and an innate sense of fun.
