Bright's Frankfurt 2025

last updated 20 October 2025

Frankfurt in London 2025

From the 13th to the 15th of October, we hosted our annual Frankfurt in London event, coinciding with Frankfurt Book Fair. Representing the 3rd version of our event, that’s become so popular we had to extend it from 2 days to 3.

Welcoming publishing clients across the Children’s publishing industry, the event gives our clients the opportunity to see our artists latest portfolios, hear the latest author pitches, and grab a snack (or two!).

As an essential platform for agents to connect with clients, this event provided the perfect setting to discuss and explore upcoming collaborations for our exceptionally talented Bright Artists. Attendees had the chance to delve into the latest trends, as well as the unique opportunity to view our stunning portfolio sheets and view our new literary rights lists in person.

As the event came to a close, our Founder and CEO Vicki Willden-Lebrecht set off to join the halls of Frankfurt International Book Fair.

Our CEO and Founder Vicki Willden-Lebrecht took the halls of 2025’s Buchmesse, alongside BCI’s Márcia Sousa and Emily Jones to continue the client meetings, pitching our artists latest portfolios, discussing new author concepts, and spotting Bright Artist work in the wild.

Bright U.S. Fall Meeting Week

Following on the tails of Frankfurt Book Fair, Bright’s US managing agents had a Fall Meeting Week from Ocotber 23rd through the 25th. Ideal for teams who did not make it over to Frankfurt, these meetings were round-table, collaborative meetings with teams of art directors and editors from all the major publishing houses.

Through our artist portfolio sheets, publishers got to leaf through every artist and take note of who caught their attention, flagging them with our agents for any potential collaborations or projects in the future. The face-to-face element of these meetings is key, as it plays an important role in making that conneciton between artist, publisher and agent. View our recap below.

Ever the orderly, James had the team ready with everything needed to host a successful week of meetings.

It was a packed and exciting week of meetings!
