Wee? It Wasn’t Me! illustrated by Nicola O’Byrne and written by Clare Helen Welsh won Best Laugh Out Loud Picture Book at The Lollies 2023.

The judging panel consisted of Head Judge and long-time Lollies ambassador, Michael Rosen, illustrator Anita Mangan, authors Ella McLeod and Steven Butler, assistant head-teacher, Rani Tiwana and Scholastic Book Club Manager, Su Inglis. Whilst the judges selected the shortlist, the winners of the awards are decided entirely by children’s votes. This year over 11,000 votes were cast.
