Process & Pictures: Maxine Lee Mackie

As part of representing artists, we don’t just sit back and wait for new artwork to roll in! Head of Children’s Illustration Lucie Luddington works with artists on developmental briefs to design new characters, evolve their styles and expand their portfolios.

In this Process & Pictures blog, Maxine Lee Mackie breaks down her response to one of Lucie’s briefs, and talks us through the creation of artwork and their artistic process.

Maxine Lee-Mackie is a Liverpool (UK) based illustrator and designer, freelancing since graduating with a BA(Hons) in Digital Arts in 2004 and working part-time as a college art technician and a visiting lecturer in Graphic Design, Multimedia and Art.
