Kew Gardens | Eva Chatelain
last updated 22 January 2020
Kew Gardens is known and loved by Londoners as a wonderful retreat into nature, and many a hazy summer afternoon can be spent wandering the leafy paths and stopping to smell the flowers – literally!
But Kew doesn’t just come alive in the summer time. This winter, they ran Woodland Wonders to give families the opportunity to explore the incredible winter landscape at Kew and take part in some fun and informative events. To promote these events, Kew commissioned Bright Artist Eva Chatelain to illustrate a wonderful woodland poster, which was also animated for social videos.

The Woodland Wonders events included Tree-mendous Tales, the Ensonglopedia of Plants, Forest Finds and Woodland Walks, and ran from Saturday 21st December to Sunday 5th January.

Eva’s work often features nature and children, with elements of fairytales and adventure, so this project was the perfect match for her style. Eva has worked with Kew before on their Autumn half term campaigns.
