David Litchfield’s Award-Winning The Bear and the Piano Celebrates 10 Years with Licensing Debut at Brand Licensing Europe

The Bright Agency is proud to share that David Litchfield’s internationally adored children’s book series The Bear and the Piano will be making its debut at Brand Licensing Europe, with a full style guide and asset bank ready to work with for licensees and partners.

This exciting news coincides with The Bear and the Piano’s 10 year anniversary in 2025. The beloved series, which has sold over 800,000 copies worldwide, in 37 languages and features 2 sequels, was the 2016 winner of the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize ‘Best Illustrated Book’. The series publisher Frances Lincoln Children Books, an imprint of The Quarto Group, have announced they are adding to their publishing portfolio with future expansions in The Bear and the Piano world, soon to be announced. The series has also been optioned for theatre by a leading international theatre company.
