The Bright Agency is one of the leading illustration and literary agencies in the world, representing some of the most talented artists and authors in the industry - the agency has come a long way over the years.

Founded in 2003 by Vicki Willden-Lebrecht, with a passion for children’s literature, our early days focused on representing children’s book authors and illustrators. Knowing there was a better way for things to be done, Vicki’s vision and determination paid off.

Owing to the successful leadership of Vicki, Bright then expanded our services to include representation for authors and animators, and began working in the commercial, advertising, licensing, and editorial sectors. This move allowed the agency to diversify its client base and offer a wider range of services to its existing clients. Over the next few years, we continued to grow and expand, opening new offices in both London and New York.

In recent years, The Bright Agency has continued to innovate and adapt to the changing needs of the industries we work in. With a talented team of agents and staff, The Bright Agency will always remained ready to get the best for our artists, authors and animators.

Today, The Bright Agency represents artists and authors from around the world, working with clients in the publishing, advertising, licensing, film, television and animation. The artists we represent have won countless awards and have truly shaped Bright into what it is today.
