Bright Books for Summer 2020!
last updated 01 July 2020
The summer months are in full swing and along with the sunshine comes lots of dazzling new titles from Bright authors and illustrators. Here’s what is publishing in the UK this season.
We’ve giggles galore with silly adventure story, Never Show a T-Rex a Book illustrated by Diane Ewen and a heartwarming tale of first friendships in My School Unicorn, artwork by Tom Knight. Chris Chatterton welcomes two new titles to everyone’s favourite countdown-to-sleep series, with Ten Minutes to Bed: Little Dinosaur out in July and Ten Minutes to Bed: Little Unicorn’s Birthday in September.
You’ll also find plenty of fantastic fiction and non-fiction for your summer reading pile. We’ve the highly anticipated Return to Roar, sequel to Jenny McLachlan’s bestselling middle-grade fantasy Land of Roar (cover by Ben Mantle), while budding space explorers will adore Yas Imamura’s out-of-this-word illustrations in An Adventurer’s Guide to Outer Space.
See what other treats are in store over the next few months!
