Bright at Bologna '24

Bologna Children’s Book Fair
Bologna Children’s Book Fair, as ever, was full of energy and inspiration, and it was the perfect platform for showcasing the incredible talent we represent. Creative Director Vicki, Global MD James and BCI Agent Amy Capelin were at the fair itself, showing off the latest portfolios across all the days.

Dashing between meetings, we got the chance to spot our artists Work in the Wild. It always brings us great joy to see their work pride of place.
We also hosted our amazing clients for a special dinner, which was a perfect opportunity to connect and relish in the publishing world (and enjoy some incredible food and drink).
With Bright turning 21 this year, we also celebrated with a soirée for artists, that featured us all together with a drink or two. And yes, we were treated to a saxophone solo - many happy returns indeed.
Bologna in London
Much like our event ‘Frankfurt in London’ last October, Bologna in London was the perfect opportunity to welcome our clients that weren’t attending Bologna the opportunity to discuss new projects and take a look over the brand new artist portfolios.
The two-day event hosted in the Clapham Junction offices was a bustling affair and our agents had the joy of back-to-back meetings showcasing the latest artwork from our artists.
The event was attended by Managing Agents Alex Gehringer, Amy Fitzgerald, Nicky Lander, Susan Penny; BCI’s Anna Zieger, Anthony Hannant and Bright Literary’s Katie Blagden.

Bologna in Jersey City
Much like it’s sister event across the Atlantic, Bologna in Jersey City welcomed our wonderful US clients to our Jersey City offices to talk all things art and illustration.
A perfect event that opens a lot of incredible opportunities for our amazing artists and reconfirmed that Bright knows how to do book fairs right!
The event was attended by Managing Agents Anne Moore Armstrong, Alex Gehringer, Susan Penny; Agent Emily Fernandez.
