Artwork Uploads
last updated 12 June 2021
Your artwork is at the foundation of everything we do and having the most up-to-date portfolio will enable us to showcase and utilise it to it’s best potential. So that we are making the most out of your artwork it’s essential that we know…
Who is the artwork for?
Was this work completed for a Bright client or a house account? If it’s personal or development work have you given permission for it to be used or sold elsewhere? When you upload the artwork please let me know what client you worked with and the name of the project. Knowing this helps me to track what artwork is being used for.
Is your work available to license?
At Bright we want to ensure that we explore all commercial opportunities for our artists across our multiple divisions. With this in mind, it is really great that we are aware if work you are uploading is available to license so that we can ensure the rights/terms are available before we share it with clients. When you license your work, you are giving permission to someone else to use your artwork in a specific way, over a specific period of time, for a specific purpose. This could include using it on prints, greetings cards, posters, clothing etc. There could be gems in your portfolio that can work across a variety of products that we might not be aware of if we don’t know what the artwork was created for.
