Shane is an American Illustrator, Gallery Artist and Award-Winning Graphic Designer known for his unique illustration style with it’s bright colors, bold textures, striking compositions and his angular “straight-line” drawing technique.

Even as a child, Shane was always creating and drawing. He was captivated by the colorful worlds of Saturday morning cartoons, taking inspiration from the vibrant classics of the 1980’s. These animated influences sparked a lifelong love for visual storytelling that would carry him to a design career in the film industry. Shane loves to create his own characters and settings that evoke a sense of fun, playfulness and a bit of his cheeky sense of humor. He is drawn to subjects that are magical and fantastic with a hint of adventure!

His work has been described as a perfect blend of playful energy with the sophistication and simplicity of mid-century design, creating artwork that is both fun and refined. Shane creates his unique characters and scenes entirely in Illustrator. Custom-made fonts and brushes further enhance the singularity of his work. Shane has exhibited pieces in group shows at the well known pop art galleries “Gallery 1988” and “Hero Complex Gallery” in Los Angeles. Today he works as a Freelance Illustrator, creating from his home studio with his husband and two asian pure-breed cats Toki and Todo in Austin, TX.
