Illustration duo and best friends, Alicia Perry & Rebecca Intavarant, created their surface design studio - Tuppence Collective - after graduating in Illustration at Coventry University.
Inspired by the intricate patterns of William Morris and bold colour palettes used in Wes Anderson films, the pair work with acrylic paints to design botanical patterns that combine the essence of the old and new to create decadent, moody and striking illustrations.
They initially produced wedding stationery with a mission to create designs that appealed to both men and women - proving that ‘floral’ doesn’t have to mean ‘girly’. It was a natural evolution from there to creating their own stationery range, including cards and wrapping paper, that has been celebrated by clients such as Fortnum & Mason and Zoella.
When they’re not sketching at various gardens and conservatories, you can usually find them perusing charity shops for old vinyls and clothing, or perhaps having a cheeky tea and cake at their studio in London, England.
