Laura is a freelance illustrator and designer based in Leicestershire.

After working for a greetings card publisher for a couple of years she decided to go off on her own adventure into the world of freelance illustration.

She is inspired by long walks in nature, especially in woodland and she really, really loves flowers and likes to be surrounded by them as much as possible. Working mainly in watercolour and gouache for most of her illustrations, she often finishes her work in Photoshop, where she may tweak colours and add extra drawn elements.

Laura works from home in a studio alongside her wonderful partner with all his music and technology, so it is a lovely creative space to be in.
