Silvia is an Italian illustrator based in Bassano del Grappa.

After studying scientific subjects all her life, she decided to throw it all away and follow her passion for drawing and painting, earning a degree in Traditional Illustration from the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Padua.

She enjoys illustrating all kinds of stories, but above all she loves capturing everyday moments and emotions, creating atmospheres charged with feeling through the use of color, light, and expressive brushstrokes.

Her technique of choice is acrylic paint, as it gives her the freedom to create both complex textures and delicate layers by applying soft, diluted coats, as well as strong, bold, textured strokes. She has a passion for anything handmade and loves engaging in all sorts of creative crafts, from crocheting to jewelry making.
