Laurel Pettitt is an illustrator and aspiring author, based in Norwich, England. She grew up with her triplet siblings between the quiet Suffolk countryside and wild Pembrokeshire coast, always with a nose deep in a book or doodling on any spare piece of paper and imagining stories.

She usually works by hand in pencil or pen, to retain texture and feeling, then adds warm or bright colours digitally. Inspired by nature, people, and the quiet, magical moments in life, Laurel creates thoughtful scenes and characters which combine humour and wonder to connect with others. As well as illustrations, Laurel also makes comics, a medium she is passionate about.

When she is not drawing, Laurel can be found at her local library, hiking in nature, or, most likely reading.
