Kate is a British illustrator and pattern designer. She studied textile design at Manchester School of Art and has enjoyed many years designing prints for children’s clothing. Kate’s colourful designs have also been featured on craft fabric, gift wrap, greetings cards, and children’s books and toys. Clients include Priddy Books, Djeco, Little Sleepies, Glick, George at Asda, and Tu at Sainsbury’s.

Kate works digitally with painterly and hand-drawn textures and uses bold, bright colours to bring a sense of joyful warmth to her characters and illustrations. When not in her studio, Kate loves baking, gardening, and marvelling at nature doing its magic each season while walking in the local countryside. Kate lives in Nottingham with her family and their tabby cat called Vincent.
