Ethan Davies is an illustrator based out of Shropshire in the UK. He works digitally to bring to life cozy fantasy worlds full of nostalgia, wonder, and hiraeth.

He began his journey with art way back in primary school, where his teacher would read the greek myths aloud to the class while everyone was allowed to draw, in many ways he has been illustrating since before he even knew what illustration was. Since then his love of art has only grown, inspired by works such as Tintin, The Hobbit, and Witch Hat Atelier, as well as the natural world around him (trees and all things green becoming a recurring motif in his work), creating a practice that celebrates and combines his love of traditional illustration with the versatility of working digitally.

He loves working with a fineliner style, creating careful, clean lines. Currently he is also very interested in exploring texture. From noise, halftones, chromatic aberration, he greatly enjoys the experimentation, and the personality it can add to pieces.
