David Wilkerson is an American illustrator who was born in the sunny and mountainous city of Denver, CO.

His love for art, storytelling, and community led him to the Savannah College of Art & Design, where he graduated with a BFA in animation. David later graduated from the Academy of Art University with a MA in Visual Development. He believes that there is healing in storytelling, and that it is the job of creatives to contribute to that cause.

Prior to becoming an illustrator, David worked as a character designer, prop designer, and background designer in animation, film, and tech. His clients range from Disney, Fox, Lebron James, PBS Kids, Hulu and many more.
