Once upon a time there was a little girl who spent much of her time lost in a daydream, drawing pictures and writing stories.

Years later, I’m pleased to say that little has changed, I feel very lucky to have fulfilled my dream of becoming an illustrator!

I graduated from Loughborough University in 2005, completing a degree in Illustration. After leaving university I started freelancing within the greetings card industry, designing for all kinds of giftware products. Three years later I felt I needed to return to my main passion, which has always been story telling. So in 2008 I joined Bright, where I felt I could really grow as an illustrator; still working with my greetings work, but also branching out into children’s book illustration, which I love!

I like to work in a variety of styles, which I think keeps my work fresh, helping me to develop my range and adapt my work to suit a variety of age groups; which presents me with a wide spectrum of commissions, every one a new and exciting challenge!

I’ve recently started to create my own stories and have thoroughly enjoyed illustrating them, giving my imagination a real work out.
