Anastasia is a children’s book illustrator based in Gothenburg, Sweden. She has been drawing for as long as she can remember. Her childhood desk at her parents’ home is still covered with drawings of everything that once caught her attention: flowers from her grandmother’s vase, characters from favorite fairy tales, and tender portraits of her family.
Working with natural materials has always been central to her artistic practice. Today, Anastasia combines watercolor and pencil in mixed media techniques alongside digital tools. She is drawn to the liveliness and gentle spontaneity of this approach, which allows her to explore her creative voice while keeping her illustrations warm, textured, and full of movement.
In her work, Anastasia celebrates the beauty of everyday moments: family weekends, outdoor walks, picking flowers, or tending a garden, transforming ordinary scenes into something magical. Through her illustrations, she hopes to bring color, warmth, and a sense of quiet wonder into the lives of children and their families.
