Adriena Fong

Adriena Fong is an illustrator born and raised in Singapore, where she spent her childhood dreaming up magical worlds. She later moved to the UK where she completed a degree in Illustration at Falmouth University. She loves working with gouache and colour pencils, as well as textured digital brushes, always looking to capture the playful charm of traditional media. With a deep love for storytelling of all sorts, she hopes to spark a sense of warmth and wonder in her work.

Her debut author-illustrated picture book, Ning and the Night Spirits, was published in 2023. Since graduating, she has worked with clients such as Flying Eye Books and Aquila Magazine.

Specialising in children’s illustration, her work is often inspired by her own Chinese-Singaporean culture and the magic of the natural world. Adriena is an avid lover of tea, her cat Momo, and everything fantastical and folkloric. She is currently based back in sunny Singapore.
