
Daniel Kytonen is a concept artist and 3D animator based out of Seattle, Washington. He has worked for over a decade as a fine artist in traditional mediums and installations, having earned a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Washington. He has since shifted his experience to the entertainment industry, now focusing on speculative future concept art and 3D animation.
Daniel enjoys starting concepts with pencil and paper and transitioning to digital programs like Photoshop. He also creates 3D assets in Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine.
Deeply inspired by places of mystery in our world, he is passionate about translating these experiences through his work. He draws inspiration from the Pacific Northwest, his adventures around the world, and family connections to Taiwan.
