Mimi is an illustrator and designer from Taiwan. She has always had a passion for drawing and making picture books. As a young kid, she would make little booklets using office supplies while waiting for her mom to finish work. Fortunately now she has a much wider range of materials, and she loves working in watercolor, ink and wax pastels. She also enjoys designing books that are tactile and invite the readers to interact with the illustrations.
Mimi studied Communication Design with a focus in Illustration at Pratt Institute. After living and working in various countries, she finally settled down in Italy with her husband and dog. Currently based in Umbria, she takes inspiration from the beautiful hills and forest animals around.
