Craig Shuttlewood

Craig lives in Brighton with his family and dreams up ideas from a garden studio. With a background in fine art he has exhibited original work in many galleries from London to New York. Although more recently he has been focusing on creating engaging children’s books that have already been translated into French, Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan.

Craig’s debut book Who’s In the tree that shouldn’t be? received a highly commended award at the Cambridgeshire Read it Again! Awards. Other titles include Town and Country, a turnaround book for young explorers and the winner of Best Children’s Book in the Junior Design Awards 2017. Craig’s latest picture book Awesome (publishing August 18) introduces Marvin (a moose) and Woody (a beaver), BFF’s who’s friendship is tested.

Town and Country, illustrated by Brighton-based artist Craig Shuttlewood and published by Ivy Kids, has won the Platinum Award (First Place) in the Best Children’s Book (5+) category at the Junior Design Awards.
