For as long as he can remember, Daniel has enjoyed drawing things that make people smile, laugh, and think. His fascination with sequential art in particular was developed while studying graphic design at Oregon State University. That passion for visual storytelling stayed with him into his career as an independent designer, during which time he provided production services for Nike and a variety of smaller organizations based in the Pacific Northwest. He continued to draw on the side until doors started opening for him to illustrate comic books for kids.
Daniel’s tools of choice for professional work are his Cintiq and iPad, but he was trained with traditional media and loves to return to that in his spare time. A lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, he is also an avid runner, hiker, explorer, and coffee-lover.
