Gary Stamps is a self-taught illustrator living in Portland, Oregon with his husband, two amazing kids, and the best dog ever.

Gary was doodling before he could write. His favorite thing to draw as a child was Halloween-themed landscapes and he spent many hours studying Preston Blair and Disney art books. He is heavily influenced by seasons, holiday traditions, and the natural beauty he sees everyday living in the Pacific Northwest.

Gary aspires to continually improve his art. He loves to create certain feelings by experimenting with lighting, color stories, and textures. When he is not drawing, Gary is enjoying a tall glass of iced tea or coffee, walking around his neighborhood, or listening to a true crime podcast.
