Chloe Leland

Chloe has won an EMMY, a BAFTA and been nominated for RTS awards for the tales she has told on screen as a Director, Producer and Writer. Always keen to celebrate the wonder of our world, her factually-based films have starred everything from dinosaurs to blood cells. Her two children have now persuaded her to start writing down the stories ‘from her head’ and Chloe is excitedly combining the real and imagined world in her childrens’ books. As well as continuing to write books for children, Chloe has worked as a Script Writer and Story Creator for the internationally renowned GoZen, who produce award-winning online animated series using positive psychology to teach kids skills of resilience and well-being. Chloe is now Creative Director at the Academy Award-winning Grain Films, where she is devising an impressive slate of new factual ideas.

Chloe comes from a long line of creatives and writers. Her Grandma was American author, Elinor Lenz; her Great Uncle was Mel Powell, Pulitzer prize-winning composer and her Father is award-winning film director and writer, David Leland.
