Pierre Caillou comes from a small French town in Burgundy which is surrounded by the autumn gold of the vine leaves when harvest time comes around. Inspired by these colourful landscapes, Pierre began drawing when he was a child.

With his vivid colour palette and cute and affective characters, he was naturally drawn to make illustrations for children. Pierre’s work includes illustration for stories, games and documentary, with works published in magazines and books.

Pierre currently works for well-known French clients and hopes to discover other cultures by working with international publishers.
