Gerry Selian is a Brooklyn based Illustrator originally from Indonesia. His mom said that she had to draw him Sailor Moon characters every day before going to kindergarten. He ended up going to school at the Academy of Art in San Francisco and when he graduated he moved to New York to pursue a career as an illustrator. His illustrations focus on whimsical and playful characters with a simplistic style. He finds telling the best stories comes from simple things. When he’s not working on his projects, you can find him exploring New York trying to find new ice cream shops and catching Broadway shows. Or maybe he’s at home binge-watching Netflix, who knows?
