Katie Turner is a picture book author and illustrator.

She was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then followed her creative pursuits to study illustration at Parsons School of Design in New York. An avid reader and artist from a young age, writing and illustrating picture books combine her two first loves into the perfect job.

Her book projects include ‘The Cat Who Got Framed,’ published by the Philbrook Museum of Art, and ‘Vanilla Bean,’ published by Cottage Door Press.

She now lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and two crazy chihuahuas.
